Biography :
Dr. Ralph Meuwissen received his PhD in 1997 at the Wageningen University in The Netherlands. He then performed postdoctoral research at the Netherlands Cancer Institute, Deparment of Molecular Genetics under Prof. Dr. Anton Berns, followed by a short stay at MIT Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research under Prof. Dr. Tyler Jacks. From 2006 until 2010, he was junior group leader at the INSERM Research Center Albert Bonniot, University of Grenoble, France. This was followed by an appointment as associate professor at the Dokuz Eylül University, later Izmir Biomedicine and Genome Institute (IBG) in Izmir, Turkey. As of 2020, Dr. Ralph Meuwissen is appointed as full professor at the Translational Pulmonary Research Center (EgeSAM), Ege University in Izmir, Turkey.
